Laura Linney

Laura Leggett Linney (born February 5 1964) is an American actress. Laura Leggett Linney is an American actor. She was born on the 5th of February, 1964. Linney made her debut on Broadway in 1990. She was later honored with Tony Award nominations, including for the production of The Crucible's revival in 2002 as well as Sight Unseen's initial Broadway productions (2004), Time Stands Still (2009) and My Name Is Lucy Barton (2017) in addition to the revivals of The Little Foxes (2017). The actress won her first Emmy Award in 2001 for the television film Wild Iris. Subsequent wins included the sitcom Frasier 2003-04 and miniseries John Adams 2008. From 2010 until 2013, she appeared in the Showtime series The Big C, which was awarded her the fourth Emmy in 2013, and between 2017 and 2022 she played in the Netflix crime series Ozark.
